Is accommodation free?
In Saudi Arabia and often the UAE, employers provide furnished accommodation as part of the package. In the UK, Ireland, Canada, Germany and Australia, ask whether the employer offers staff housing or a relocation allowance.
Should I sign a long lease before I arrive?
Usually not. Many nurses take a short first stay, then choose a neighbourhood once they know their commute.
Can my family stay with me from day one?
In Gulf employer housing, usually only after 3–6 months. In the UK, Ireland, Canada, EU and Australia, family-sized short-term rentals are usually available, but check the employer's relocation terms.
