Clinical Documentation Specialist Remote
This full-time remote position for MercyOne Genesis requires 80 hours biweekly on a day shift schedule. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree in Nursing or Health Information Technology.
Work this role from any clinic, anywhere in the country — as long as your license, certifications and ID documents are current and valid for the employer's required state(s).
Review inpatient medical records to facilitate the accurate representation of a patient's clinical status. Utilize clinical knowledge to identify opportunities for documentation improvement. Collaborate with the coding team to ensure proper DRG assignment. Maintain an 80-hour biweekly schedule during standard day shift hours.
